RDD Block Bunjwah lying defunct, MIS Operators runs nexus from AC Rooms Kishtwar, NT Bunjwah inspected the Office premises

 Jammu 07 Apr :______The RDD Block Bunjwah is still lying in defunct postion at Block Headquarter Bunjwah since long as the matter was time to time raised with concerned higher authorities.

 Local resident alleged that MIS Operators posted in Block Bunjwah runs the whole nexus from AC Rooms Kishtwar and office is lying in defunct position at Block headquarter Bunjwah.


Bunjwah Youth Association members approaches Tehsildar Bunjwah about the defunct system of Block Bunjwah and on the direction of Tehsildar Bunjwah Shri Irshad Ahmed Butt, Naib Tehsildar Bunjwah Shir Bashir Ahmed along with sectoral staff and I/C Police Post Jawalapur Shri Moin Khan today pays surprise inspection at Block Headquarter Bunjwah and found only one Mohd Asif Butt (Ordely) in office and rest of all officials were absent from legitimate duties.

 The issue was presented by Youth that MIS operators runs the whole nexus of RDD Block Bunjwah from AC Rooms Kishtwar and did not bothered to visit Bunjwah. 

Meanwhile NT Bunjwah via telephonic conversation with BDO Bunjwah asked him to report at Block Headquarter Bunjwah with immediate effect otherwise the Office establishment will be double locked and stritct action will be proceeded accordingly.

The Bunjwah Youth Association informed DDC Chairperson and ACD Kishtwar regarding the misappropriation of funds and running of nexus by MIS Operators from Kishtwar. Both the authorities assured that stern action will be taken against all those who are behind in running of nexus.

It is important to mention that only Block Bunjwah in Kishtwar is lying in defunct position except from other 13 Block of Kishtwar district.

Maharashtra Becomes The First State To Ban Loose Cigarettes

  The State Health Department of Maharashtra issued a public notification banning the sale of ‘loose’ or unpacked  cigarettes and beedis , making it the first state to do so. This is in accordance with the subsection (2) of section 7 of the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce Production, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003 (Act No. 34 of 2003) which mandates a public health warning on all cigarette and tobacco boxes. Loose cigarettes and beedis do not have descriptive warnings on them and hence, do not meet this criterion. Consumers will now have to buy the whole  box . The step has been taken to discourage young adults and teens from smoking as they may not have the financial capability to buy entire boxes.
